Alhamdulillah..Congratulations, Everyone!
Assalamualaikum, readers!
Today is the day all year 6 students receive their results for UPSR and PSRA in Sri Ayesha. I want to say congratulations to every one of my friends (and people I've never met) no matter what your result is. The important thing is that you've done your best. And this is our topic in this post.
To those who didn't achieve 5As and Mumtaz, it's okay. It is your effort we want to celebrate, not your results. Congratulations! You still have many chances to get better and try a different learning or study strategy. Have you heard of the youngest student getting a PhD? I can't remember his name, but he got PhD when he's just 23 years old! But he only got 4As and 1B in his UPSR exams. So don't worry if you have a bad result. It's not like it's the end of the world. And please, parents, do not pressure them if they didn't succeed. It's bad enough they got bad results, but you have to encourage them to keep moving forward. Give them presents anyway. Help them to get batter and do batter next time.
To those who did achieve 5As and Mumtaz, congratulations! Keep up the good work and never stop for a rest like the hare sleeping while waiting for the turtle in the race. Don't ever stick you nose up high, showing off your good grades on your high horse. Don't feel too confident that you will pass the future exams. And do not ever compare with each other until you you make a group for 5A and Mumtaz students only. No! Be friends with everyone. Help them out when they need you. Parents should not take your eyes off your children after they succeed. You must congratulate them and help them maintain their grades.
You might be wondering, what did I get? Well, alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah the Most Powerful, I achieved my goal to get 5As and Mumtaz. Thanks to my parents for supporting me since the beginning, and I can't even remember when was the beginning. Thank you to my grandparents for sending me to school to learn and making me breakfast and other meals {-P. Thank you also to my other grandparents for supporting me and still remember about me, even though they have other grandchildren to think about. A special thanks to teachers for teaching me what I have to learn, either academics or manners in Islam. Thank you friends for supporting and congratulating, being a good friend to me.
From all this, I want you to remember that every thing that hppens in this world has a benefit. If you get, for example, 3As and 2Bs (I'm talking about no one in particular), maybe Allah wants you to have that result so you won't show off if you had 5As. Just remember that you still have another chance to move on. UPSR or PSRA only measures how well you've learned in primary school. It doesn't really gives an image about your attitude. My teacher once said that she doesn't remember her previous students with good marks but bad attitude, but she remebers the ones with the best attitude, even if they didn't get 5As or Mumtaz. Don't worry, I don't think the teachers will only love those with good grades and ignore those who did not.
Finally, to all my friends, accept whatever result you received. The important thing is that you've given your best effort in it. Make your choice to move on and keep moving forward to achieve your goals in life, or stop to cope on your luck or boast and brag about them. Whatever you do (and this is the quote from "Meet the Robinsons") "Keep moving forward".
Assalamualaikum and all the best for the upcoming challenges!
