Clueless Cases (Chapter 1): Prologue
Night fell on Hilder Street, sending cool mists into the starlit sky. A crescent moon hung among the rows of twinkling stars as Cliff plopped himself on his bed, dressed in his pajamas. Just like any other night, he took his mystery notebook from his bedside table; a book that he had been using to write mysterious things that happened in town. Every Friday night, he would jot down the weird things that happened in Clyville, mainly mysteries.
He wrote:
No mysteries this week.
Hope next week will be different.
It's been a week since Cliff and his gang solved a mystery. They had been waiting, keeping a lookout for enemies, reading newspapers, watching the news on television and asked people all around town for mysterious happenings. Still, they couldn't find any recently. It might be strange for a group of youngsters to go search for crimes to solve, but it's just what they're interested in.
Cliff closed his notebook and a yawn escaped his mouth. Without having anything else to do, he set his black-rimmed spectacles gently down on his bedside table and tucked himself under his thick duvet. In just a few minutes, he was fast asleep, not noticing a piercing sound cutting through the night air.
The sound of a scream.

You are very talented, and I'm not surprised if you end up as an author of many books one day. Keep up the good work.
