Back From Turkey!
Assalamualaikum and a happy new year, everyone! I hope 2020 blesses you and your family with happiness and success!I have returned to Malaysia after our long travel around Turkey, and I've actually been back Wednesday night so this post is a bit overdue. I needed to regain my energy a bit before writing a little summary of our trip. I've missed being home where it's warm, but my A/C decided to be warmer than usual so we'll hopefully get that fixed. Also, I'm only two days away from my admission to college! How exciting yet nerve-wracking.

In a span of 14 days, my parents, Yusuf and I had travelled across over 10 provinces of Turkey, stayed in 7 beautiful locations, and travelled almost 2,500 kilometres in total from Istanbul to Ankara. The trip had taught us many things as Turkey was a nation rich with history, from when it was under the control of Greeks, to the Byzantine Era, to the Ottoman Empire and to the beginning of the Republic of Turkey. This country also has a lot of natural beauty to offer, though I believe the view can be different according to seasons.
Of course there were a few things that didn't go as planned due to unavoidable circumstances, but we managed to negotiate around it and found our way to have fun!
Sorry for this short post. I'm still packing for college, so maybe I'll post my first day tomorrow night! Assalamualaikum and have a good year, everyone!
