Hello, everyone! I am back for a long time. I have turned eleven this year. I am writing on my blog again. Since last year, I've had so many adventures in my new school. I also went to Australia, Singapore and Pulau Langkawi. I am so glad I have time to write a new blog on 2014.
On June 2013, I went to Australia with my parents, aunt, uncle, 4 cousins and my grandparents. We had so much fun. It is very cold there. We rode a big aeroplane with three rows of seats - right, left and middle. When we arrived there, my father rented a car. It is a very big Hyundai Grand Starex car. My aunt rented a smaller car. It is a Volkswagen Golf. We all rode the cars and me and my cousins take turns to decide who ride which car at every stop. We all wore jackets, gloves, shoes (some were wearing boots) and hats. WE rode until nighttime. We found the place where we wanted to live at Jindabyne. There is a three way inn there. We fought who sleeps with who. at last I slept with my parents and one of my cousins in one room.
The next day, we packed up things to bring for the next journey. We brought some food to eat. We took pictures before we leave. We went to the Snowy Mountains. We played snow for the first time. It felt like ice. We played sledding down a short slope. I sledded with my father twice, my grandfather once and with my cousin once. It was so much fun. Then my cousin take turns pulling each other on the sled. Then we went picnicking under a tree in a picnic park not far from the mountains. There is brook there so we washed our hands first. We can't eat properly because it is very cold when we took off our gloves. It felt like our hand was frozen.
When we went home that night, we all had a barbecue together. There was a barbecue chicken, beef and lamb. They are very delicious. That was the last night we were in Jindabyne. After eating, we warmed ourselves at the fireplace and watched Harry Potter before we slept.
The next day, we took picture with the owner of the three way inn and went to Sydney. Then, we went to a hotel in Bankstown. We rented 2 rooms. One room is for my grandparents and the other is for me, my cousins, parents my aunt and uncle. That night, we slept soundly because we had a whole day journey.
After that, we went to Manly Sea Life Sanctuary. We took pictures with sharks there. We also took pictures with stingrays. We rode a ferry to go there. It was a very big ferry. We also took a picture with a mermaid statue. We saw many types of fish there. We went upstairs and saw a penguin show. The penguins swam in the pool in front of them. They are very small and cute. But they are not babies. They are just different kind of penguins.
That night, we went to the Opera House but didn't get in. We only took pictures from outside. But my grandparents didn't want to come. The Opera House is so big. We also played marching there.
The next day, we went to Featherdale Zoo. We saw a weird type or chicken there. We also saw kangaroos, koalas, rabbits, foxes, ostriches etc. and took pictures with them. We also fed them. Then we found a group of emus. We also saw many types of birds in big cages. After looking at every type of animals, we went to the souvenir shop and bought souvenirs for memories or to give to friends.
