Smile!

Assalamualaikum wrh wbt, I appreciate you for reading this post. I have been chosen to be the 'naqibah' in an 'usrah' -- a person who leads a topic in a discussion -- today which is Friday 13th of March 2015. I chose the topic 'Smile and Laugh'. I want to share the information I have found about smiling from a lot of searching and asking. First of all, what is a smile? According to the Islam religion, a smile is a beautiful award given to us from Allah. It is also an antidote or a cure for someone who is hurt, sad or upset. If one of our friends are lonely or upset and we smile at them, wouldn't they feel much better? They would feel appreciated and treated. Wouldn't it be nice if we receive a smile? Back To My Hometown

Assalamualaikum wrh wbt, Thank you for still reading this blog. I want to share my experience going back to my father's hometown, which is Sarawak, during the school holidays in December. I haven't been there since my aunt was married which was four years ago! I went there with my mother, father, brother, grandfather and grandmother. We have to wake up very, very early because our flight was at around 7 o'clock. We took taxis to the airport. Before we depart, we had a little breakfast in the airport. I had Nasi Lemak which is the local food in Malaysia. It took almost two hours to reach Sarawak by plane and my little brother, Yusuf, cried when we were landing. When we arrived, my grandmother's cousin waited for us and lent his car. We were in Kuching that time and my grandparents' house is in Sri Aman. We drove off using the car. It took a couple of hours to get to Sri Aman. We stopped to have lunch halfway to Sri Aman. We ate Mee Kolok which is a pop...

Family Day

My school, Sri Ayesha, had arranged a family day on the last day of February which is Saturday. It is held at Impian Country Resort in Hulu Langat. I went there with my parents, brother and my cousin. My other cousins went to Malacca. We arrived there a little late so we missed the kid's activities and the father's activities. We still have time for the mother's activities and the family activities, but we never made it because my cousin and I are busy playing in the river. I played in the river, splashing my friends. Some of my friends brought their younger brothers and sisters so our part of the river was more like a nursery swimming pool. Some cried, some got angry at my friend for splashing them, some played with a balloon. I tried hard not to splash them because the wate...
